Join Truckee Dirt Union for the JPs Trail Restoration Project Community Dig Day. TDU has been collaborating with CA State Parks and Truckee Donner Land Trust to improve JPs Trail and we are going to head up to work on a few last pieces of the puzzle. We are nearing project completion but still have some heavy lifting yet to accomplish and we want your help and your sense of humor.

👉 Meet-Up
Time: 1 pm
Location: 01 Fireroad Bathrooms near Jackass Trail.

👉 Parking:
Limited parking is available near the bathrooms where we will park. Parking is also available off of Highway 89. We encourage all participants to ride into the work site. You can walk as well if you prefer but it’s less fun. 

👉 What to Bring:

• Water/hydration

• Trail snack

• Hat and eyewear

• Clothing appropriate for Sierra forest conditions

• Gloves

• Bike helmet

• A readiness to work and participate

• Sunscreen

• Bug repellent
  

👉 Trail Access: Plan to hike or mountain bike in. Expect approximately 1–3 miles of hiking and up to four hours of shaded sun exposure.

👉 Trail Work Schedule:

• 1 PM – Check-in and waiver signing at Pacos Bike Shop

• 1:10 PM – Safety briefing and project overview

• 1:20 PM – Ride to worksite

• 4:30 PM – Wrap up worksite and ride to Donner Creek Brewing Company for apres social.

Come out and support the trails, connect with fellow community members, and enjoy good food and drink after a rewarding day on the mountain making more Singletrack Radness.
